Picnic was my first home bred labrador and Field Trial Winner. She is a well built athletic bitch with a lot of style when she is hunting. She has been much like her mother to train - both were slower to develop and came into their own when training on game or being worked in the shooting field. They were the type of dogs that needed things breaking down for them to learn, but once they had learnt the exercise they never forget it.
Picnic has not had as much opportunity to compete as much as my other dogs. This was due to her having litters and me having other open dogs to run. Picnic has had a good start to the 2021 trailing season, she was handled by Steve in the West Dartmoor Open and gained 2nd Place.
She has won Novice and Open Working Tests as well as being placed first in the Wye Valley Retriever Club Novice trial in 2018.
